If you are visiting during the winter season (December and January), it is quite uncommon to spot large mammals. On the other hand, you will spot many colorful birds. The park is closed during monsoon season.

Wildlife India tours are quite focused on tigers only. Although it is the national animal, it is not easier to spot tigers during safari, even if you visit during peak summer season. Most prefer taking back-to-back safari trips around the park to make sure that they get a glimpse of tiger at least for a few seconds.

It is quite important to note that the guide’s rules are for your safety. Wear comfortable clothes, bring binocular, apply sunscreen lotion, cover your head with cap and bring lots of water with you. If your guide asks you to avoid certain activity or area, it is best to obey him.
